OUR FOUNDER
The idea for “SOS” Sedlak Offroad School was developed over the past two decades. I started my professional racing career at the age of 18 in Germany and shortly after jumped on a plane to Dubai to race in the Middle East for KTM. Over the years I worked with different coaches from former Motocross World Champions to Enduro specialists. Early on I understood the importance of good communication between rider and coach. For 12 years I traveled around the world racing professionally in the Motocross World Championship, Supercross, Enduro and Desert events. It was always important to me to become an overall versatile rider that can adapt to different conditions. In 2013 I wanted to do more than just race and formed Sedlak Offroad School. Riding and racing motorcycles took me around the world, eventually ending up in San Diego, CA. My passion for riding and the adventure of travelling and experiencing the world on two wheels is as strong as ever and I’m happy to share my passion with our clients every day, helping them to become better safer riders.
Daniel Sedlak
Over the past fourteen years Daniel has raced in 42 different countries on 6 different continents. Along the way his passion for racing expanded into a passion for travel and adventure, leading to great opportunities of exploring some of the most remote corners of the world on two wheels.
From testing motorcycles in the Himalayas in Nepal to organizing the first ever Motocross school in Vietnam, Daniel got to experience the world of motorcycling beyond the checkered flag.
Between 2014 and 2017 Daniel split his time between California and Africa, organizing Motocross Schools in Uganda, Kenya, Zimbabwe, Zambia and Botswana. “Working with many different riders across Africa was a great experience from a cultural and from a racing standpoint. Getting to explore parts of the continent that most tourists will never get to see and to work with up and coming talent was a true pleasure.”

Riding and racing motorcycles gave me many great opportunities and I’m excited to be able to give some of that back to others.”
Over the past couple of years Daniel built a strong team of instructors around him to assist with events in California and abroad. Our high standard is the same whether you are a first time rider or a professional racer. Besides his work with Sedlak Offroad School, Daniel is a test rider for motorcycle manufactures, he writes articles for several two wheel publications in the US and abroad, and he works closely with his corporate partners to create content for their social media outlets. Truly living the dream every day.
